Successful Ladies Lunch 2024 Event with Special Guest
Rutland Water Golf Club was host to the Vale of Catmos lodge members, together with their ladies and guests, to celebrate their annual Ladies Lunch 2024.
A special and warm welcome to our VIP guest for the afternoon, Dr Sarah Furness, Lord-Lieutenant of Rutland.
Dr Sarah Furness, delivered a gracious speech to the room, thanking the Rutland Freemasons for their donations towards the recent landmark statue of QEII in Oakham, as well as various other significant charities. We were very proud to welcome Sarah to our annual event, together with the large number of guests who joined us on such a bright and hot summer's afternoon.
An additional £300.00 was raised for charity on the day through our raffle, with members enjoying an engaging performance by a hired magician who amazed everyone with a variety of tricks. The event was enjoyed by all, with plenty of food and drinks available.
Our Worshipful Master, Ian Scantlebury, and his wife June, shown below, were both very proud of the excellent attendance on the day.
