Provincial Sportsman’s Dinner at Leicester Tigers

Vale of Catmos Lodge was proudly represented at the recent Masonic Sportsman’s Dinner, held at Leicester Tigers’ Welford Road Stadium, with Head Steward Chris Burton attending on behalf of the Lodge.

Around 300 Brethren and guests from across the Province attended the evening, which combined good food, entertainment, and fellowship. Seated for a memorable occasion, guests enjoyed a superb three-course dinner in a relaxed, social atmosphere.

Speakers for the night included Stuart Broad CBE and former England rugby international Kyran Bracken MBE, supported by MC Roger Dakin and auctioneer and former England cricketer Ed Giddins.

Events like this showcase the strength of the wider Masonic community, bringing together Brethren, family, and friends in an enjoyable and inclusive setting. Congratulations to Chris Burton for representing the Lodge at such a well-supported and successful evening.

When asked how he found the night, Chris replied, “An excellent evening, we need to get a lodge table together in 2 years’ time.” It looks like we’ll be attending the next one too!
