Vale of Catmos at Red Cross of Constantine Ceremony

On Saturday 17 January 2026, Freemasons’ Hall in the Province of Leicestershire and Rutland hosted the annual ceremony of the Masonic and Military Order of the Red Cross of Constantine, together with the Orders of the Holy Sepulchre and of St John the Evangelist (KHS).

This distinguished occasion brought together Worthy Knights from all Conclaves across the East Midlands Division, marking an important date in the Masonic calendar and celebrating the shared traditions and values of the Orders.

Vale of Catmos Lodge was well represented on the day by members who also belong to the Order. Attendees included Recent Past Master, W. Bro Ian Scantlebury, current Worshipful Master, W. Bro Glenn Mitchell, along with senior members and Past Masters W. Bro John Manby and W. Bro Noel Manby.

Both W. Bro Ian Scantlebury and W. Bro Glenn Mitchell played significant roles within the ceremony. Together with the assembled officers, the proceedings were conducted to an exceptionally high standard, reflecting great credit on all involved and reinforcing the solemnity and importance of the occasion.

The afternoon concluded with a hugely rewarding festive board, providing an opportunity for fellowship and reflection after a successful and memorable ceremony.

Vale of Catmos Lodge is proud of the contribution made by its members and extends its congratulations to all who took part in ensuring the event was such a success!
