VofC at Leicestershire & Rutland Freemasons Annual Meeting
The Worshipful Master and Wardens of Vale of Catmos Lodge attended the 2025 Provincial Grand Lodge of Leicestershire and Rutland ceremony on Friday, 28th November at Freemasons Hall, London Road.
Worshipful Master W. Bro Glenn Mitchell, Senior Warden Bro John Nicholls, and Junior Warden Bro Robert Grace represented the lodge at this notable event, which included many new appointments within the province.
A highlight was the recognition of W. Bro Paul Graveling of Vale of Catmos Lodge, who was honoured as Past Provincial Junior Grand Deacon. Other lodge members present included W. Bro Darren Bowles, W. Bro John Manby, and W. Bro Noel Manby.
Over 200 Masons from across the province gathered to renew fellowship, enjoying conversations, cocktails, and a celebratory dinner after the formal proceedings. The event featured an address by the Right Worshipful Assistant Grand Master, John Paul Thompson, who came from the United Grand Lodge of England, joined by provincial grand masters from Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Warwickshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, and other counties.
The evening was rounded off with an excellent meal prepared and served by the expert team at Devonshire Place, which saw everyone celebrating the unity and ongoing commitment of the Masonic community in Leicestershire and Rutland.
To reiterate the following comment from our W Bro Steve K Beanland PProvJGD, “You seem to have done VoC proud, all of you, well done!”
